Kim Groome
It is my goal to bring something beautiful to life. Each painting will, hopefully, inspire and draw in the viewer. I want my paintings to bring joy and a renewed sense of life when they are viewed.

Biography
Kim was born in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia to a Canadian mother and a British father.. Her family left Australia when she was six months old and at six years of age, the family moved to a suburb of Toronto. Kim was an active girl, on the track and field team in high school and later, loved to run and cycle everywhere she could. While she loved art and to paint, she feared being an artist might not sustain her, so she worked towards a degree in Business and Economics at McMaster University, in Ontario. As her family moved west, so did Kim. She found herself living in beautiful British Columbia. While she had always loved being outside, now she craved it. It was here, where Kim married her artistic self, with someone who spends many hours in the mountains and forests. Her family settled in Penticton, BC. and it is where she would look out at the vineyards and lakes and think, with deep gratitude, “I get to live here”. This is where the journey began to share her artistic vision.
Kim has been selling her art for 17 years and has thousands of collectors across the globe. She paints in oils and produces tiles, as well. Her style is impressionistic and bold. Kim has a deep love of colour and wants her clients to experience that feature. Kim’s goal is to create every day. Artists of all genres understand that to create and to share, is to lay oneself bare. However, Kim is determined to produce pieces for which she is proud. Please wander around her website and enjoy the fruits of her labours.
